The workshop will include a combination of group and individual healing via “mining for oneness” and a broader discussion that relates to the meaning of holistic health in the age of corporate climate chaos and toxic air, water, food and sunshine. Based on a book that Bob is working on, examples will be given of the power of the spirit of oneness—including the extraordinary survival and rescue accounts of trapped Pennsylvania and Chilean miners not long ago. The concept of humanity as holistically disturbed individual going through a developmental crisis of existential proportion may be discussed. However, In honor of the spirit of oneness and how the whole is more than the sum of its parts, the energy of our unique group will be “mined” so all bets are off as to the actual direction this workshop may take—but one thing is certain, lots of healing will take place!

Donation Requested: Whatever you can give to the Foundation of Light at this time—whether it be 5 or 50 dollars or simply contributing your harmonious energy to the group.

Bob Laurentz is a spiritual-energetic healer who has perceived auras for assessment since 1992; used prayer for healing since 1996; did his first serious energy healing in 1998; and his first remote healing in 2000. Bob has a Ph.D. in Sociology specializing in Race/Ethnic Conflict and a second doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has taught at undergraduate and graduate levels and lectured on a wide range of topics. He came to Ithaca to work at Cornell Psychological Services in 1993 and then went into private practice. He holds Affiliated status on the Medical Staff at Cayuga Medical Center and has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association in Tompkins County for five years. He has done his energy work freely in the community for many years and especially at the Grassroots Festival. He will include energy work as part of his new career path, but has greatly curtailed his psychology practice to make space for research, writing and presenting on the only client whose name is not HIPAA protected: HUMANITY!
